Important disclosure: This calculator is for illustrative purposes only. The 30-year projection assumes a hypothetical 7% annual portfolio growth rate with fees deducted annually from the portfolio balance. Actual investment returns will vary and may be higher or lower than the assumed rate. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The WIY flat fee is based on net worth at engagement and is reviewed annually. AUM fees shown assume a 1% annual fee on portfolio value — actual AUM fees vary by advisor and may be higher or lower. This is not investment advice, a guarantee of future performance, or a solicitation to purchase any security. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
How the fee works
Wealth In Yourself uses a declining percentage model. The rate you pay drops as your net worth grows. Your first $1M is charged at 1.00%. The next $2M at 0.35%. The next $7M at 0.20%. And everything above $10M at 0.10%. Your primary residence is excluded from the calculation.
That means the more wealth you build, the less you pay as a percentage. Your fee never scales against you the way a flat 1% AUM fee does. The minimum annual fee is $10,000.
